Curtain Lining

Handmade turquoise sari curtains cut and sewn to order in India. The semi-sheer sari fabric filters daylight into a warm, colored glow, so a hallway keeps its natural brightness while gaining color and privacy.

Tab Top heading. Flat 4" fabric tabs sit above the panel for a relaxed, casual drape on rods up to 1.5" in diameter.

Match your whole room. This color is also made up as cushion covers, tablecloths, table runners and duvet cover sets, so curtains, scatter cushions and table linen can all be ordered in the same sari print.

How to measure

All listed widths and lengths are per individual panel. For a gathered look, choose a total panel width of 1.5-2x your rod width - for a 60" rod, that is two 60" panels for a full look, or two 43" panels for a flatter, more tailored one. Measure the drop from the top of the rod to where you want the hem to finish. Tab top lengths are measured from the top of the panel body, not the top of the tabs, so the panel hangs a little below the rod.

The story behind the fabric

Our fabric is woven on hand-looms in a small rural village in India and then hand-dyed. The artisans are young hand-crafters who have moved from villages to a town in central India, making home decor from these sari fabrics. Your purchase supports home-based work where artisans can tend to their families and pass these time-honored skills from one generation to the next.
